Dave Cerne, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cerne joined ATS in July 2010. He became President and CEO in January 2014 and oversaw the ATS transition to become an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. Prior to joining ATS, Mr. Cerne was a Vice President at Science Applications International Corporation where he served in multiple capacities, including program manager, division manager, and business development manager. Mr. Cerne also previously served as a Contracts Officer and Logistics Officer within the U.S. Government. Mr. Cerne holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Alan J. Murphy, Director of Business Development
Mr. Murphy brings to ATS over 15 years of Intelligence Community operations and business development management experience. He has been with ATS for 10 years and is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and day-to-day management of our expanding Business Development Department. Mr. Murphy previously managed several 100-plus person programs at ATS, including large-scale support to CONUS and OCONUS Language Services and Intelligence operations. Prior to joining ATS, Mr. Murphy served in the Military Intelligence Corps of the U.S. Army. Mr. Murphy graduated from Georgetown University.
Mary Khattak, Director of Human Resources
Ms. Khattak joined ATS in January 2018 bringing twenty years of Human Resources experience from government contractors and non-profit and for-profit organizations. Ms. Khattak leads the Human Resources team which supports employees in twenty-four states across the country. Prior to joining ATS, Ms. Khattak was the Human Resources Director at Ace Info Solutions, a mid-sized IT government contractor, a Human Resources Manager at SHAPE America, an HR Director at Wolf Trap Foundation and an HR Representative at Wegmans. Ms. Khattak has an MPA from George Mason University and a BS in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo along with SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and serves on the board of Dulles SHRM.
Andy Bennett, Senior Program Manager
Mr. Bennett has over 30 years of Intelligence and management experience, with a unique breadth of knowledge and CONUS and OCONUS work experience in US Intelligence, Military, Policy, and Federal Law Enforcement communities. He joined ATS in 2015 and is responsible for directing operations across that same broad range of customer agencies. His “prime directive” at ATS is to develop and offer our customers comprehensive solutions that integrate: 1) smart, qualified people; 2) efficient technology; and 3) effective training in best practices. Mr. Bennett graduated from the University of Akron.
