ATS is thrilled to introduce the Innovation Award, celebrating the outstanding contributions of our dedicated employee owners. This award celebrates and acknowledge employees who excel in driving innovation within our workplace and making meaningful contributions to ATS.

Innovation Award

The Innovation Award recognizes and celebrates groundbreaking advancements that push the boundaries of creativity and problem-solving. Through honoring exceptional ingenuity and forward-thinking approaches, the award aims to inspire further innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement in our community.

  • Develop creative solutions to address complex mission and customer challenges or unmet needs by implementing novel approaches or strategies that have resulted in significant positive change.
  • Demonstrate measurable and tangible improvements to improve the mission.
  • Ideas were implemented and adopted, maximizing their impact of change within an organization.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing improvement, leaving a legacy of lasting change.

Eligibility

To qualify for the award the nominee(s) must be an active, full-time or part-time employee, in good standing at the time of award (December).

  • NOMINEE: Nominees may be any active ATS employee, including program managers and indirect staff (with the exception of division managers and senior leadership). There is no service requirement for nominees. An individual employee may only be nominated once per year and will only be evaluated based on that year’s nomination.
  • NOMINATOR: The nominator must be an active ATS employee and may nominate multiple employees in any year but cannot self-nominate.

Nomination Procedure

  • Nominations are accepted through the submission of the Nomination Form.
  • Nomination forms should be submitted below during the nomination period, August 1 – October 15.
  • Nominations must be received by October 15th to qualify. No late submissions will be accepted.
  • The Innovation Award Nomination Form may be submitted by either the Nominee or the Nominator.

Nominations will be evaluated in November. One (1) nominee will be selected for the award and will be announced at ATS’ Employee Engagement Event in December. The awardee will receive a gift of $1500 (which is taxable per IRS requirements) along with a crystal award to recognize this achievement.
