ATS Run Club – 14 Week Training

The Run Club is going to complete a 14 week training plan to get ready for the Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon on May 18th, 2024! Check out the race HERE. It is going to be a beautiful course!

Starting the week of February 12th, we will have group runs once a week on Wednesday afternoons at 4pm leaving from ATS in Reston (followed by Happy Hour at ATS afterwards), and one longer run as a group every other Saturday morning at 8am, leaving from Weird Brothers Coffee in Herndon and grabbing coffee afterwards! If you have ideas for routes or a different location you’d like to do a group run, please reach out and we will get it scheduled! Since the first two Wednesdays (14th and 21st) of the training plan are “Off” days, we are going to be doing walk/jogs from ATS to get everyone together and moving for the weeks to come! The first Saturday morning run will be held on February 24th.

If you are interested in receiving the calendar invites/further details for the group runs, please reply to this email and we will get you added. You do not have to participate in the Half Marathon or follow the training plan to participate in the group runs! Everyone is welcome and please bring family/friends if you would like!
