ATS acquired Ayovee, a highly specialized systems engineering company, in 2019 and Global Consulting Services, Inc. (GCS), a software development company, in 2020. These two acquisitions expanded ATS’s mission technology and solutions portfolio and enhanced ATS’s high-end capabilities in software development, software engineering, systems engineering, and cybersecurity. Then in 2021, ATS acquired Entegra Systems, a leading provider of services related to SIGINT development, collection, and analysis; mission and collection management; and intelligence analysis.

2023 was our biggest year for growth, as we acquired both OASIC Engineering, a hardware and software engineering services company, and Alder Technology, a provider of high-end network engineering and data management services. With these acquisitions, Engineers now make up the second highest labor category in ATS. This strategic alignment positions ATS as a go-to partner for customers seeking comprehensive solutions in the dynamic landscape of national security. Through each acquisition, ATS maintained our prioritization of both our customers’ missions and a culture that values our talented, dedicated, and diverse workforce.

Founded in 2000, ATS is a leading Technology, Intelligence, Language, and Operations company supporting a wide range of U.S. Federal agencies. In 2013, ATS restructured to become an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, which is uncommon within our business sector. We see this as a significant strength, and it shows: ATS is consistently ranked as a top workplace among D.C. area firms, and we continue to grow.
